Lockdown Adventures
During these strange times, Club has remained open for a very small number of children each week. Here are some pictures of what we’ve been up to.
Cockington 14th March
Older group headed to Cockington this week to feed the ducks and have a play in the park. Cockington is always a lovely trip for Club and we had a lovely day!
Sno-Tubing 7th March
Younger group had a fun filled day at the dry ski slope in Plymouth this week, where they did some Sno-Tubing. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the slope!
Animal Encounters 29th February
This morning we had a fab time making pancakes. Then this afternoon, Chris from Animal Encounters was back with us to see older group. Everyone had an amazing time meeting and holding all of the animals!
Swimming 22nd February
This week younger group had a dip at the Hydro Hub and had a great time playing and splashing around!
Taiko Drumming 15th February
This week older group braved storm Dennis to head to Seale Hayne for a Taiko drumming session. We had a fantastic time and everyone worked really hard on their listening and timing!
Haldon Forest 8th February
Younger group enjoyed a fresh, breezy walk around Haldon Forest this week. We enjoyed the fresh air and taking in the stunning views.
A La Ronde 1st February
This week older group headed to A La Ronde to make use of our national trust membership. We enjoyed a walk around the grounds and explored the house. We also enjoyed having a go on the piano inside the house.
Animal Encounters 25th January
This week younger group had a visit from Chris from Animal Encounters. He brought with him lots of animals for us to meet! We had a great time meeting a tortoise, a chameleon, a gecko and lots more! Everyone was really brave and got really involved – including the grownups! Some of the group also had a walk to the park.
Swimming 18th January
This week older group headed to Hydro Hub at Seale Hayne for a nice warm dip! We were having too much fun in the pool to take any pictures this week!
Elves and the Shoemaker 11th January
This week it was younger group’s turn to start 2020 with a trip to the theatre. We headed to the Theatre Royal to watch the Elves and the Shoemaker. It was a fab show!
Cinderella Panto 4th January
Happy New Year!! Older group kicked off the new year with a trip to the Theatre Royal in Plymouth to watch the Cinderella panto. We had a great time, what a way to start the new year.
